It was finally here! Emma's first day of school. She had been waiting for weeks and weeks. She got out of school about a week before the girls, and has been dying to go back ever since. Due to overcrowding at Columbia Elementary, Emma was transferred to Copper Canyon Elementary this year. She knew she would be going to a new school, and have a new teacher and she wasn't the least bit nervous. This year, Emma will not be attending two different preschools like she did last year. She will only be attending the preschool provided through Jordan School District special needs program. So, Connor will be on his own for preschool this year. (I don't think he will mind. Although, he is a little bummed that his school hasn't started yet.)Emma was ready to go right when she woke up this morning. Her bus comes quite a bit later than last year, and I had a hard time convincing her that it wasn't time to go yet. When 10:45 rolled around we went outside and waited for her bus. As soon as it pulled up, she took off running for it. The doors opened, she climbed in and found her car seat.(This bus looks like a regular bus from the outside, but has seat belts and car seats on the inside.) She was in such a hurry to go, she didn't even say good-bye! I guess I should be happy that she loves school so much. Let's hope her enthusiasm lasts her whole academic career. School gets out at 1:30 and I can't wait for her to come home and tell me all about her first day with Teacher Linda.

I LOVE THAT GIRL!!!!!!!!:) GO EMMA!!
I love that they (the district) is nice enough to put carseats in the bus. Now we need to get them to, at least, put seatbelts in the regular buses!
Yea!I am so glad that you found my blog through Melessa's! Emma and Conner are huge! They are too cute! I really like your laugh until you cry or laugh until you wet your pants quote! How is Dr J's? Life in Michigan is growing on me. I still have my moments when I think what the heck am I doing here, but it's only about 3x a week instead of 3x a day. I miss you and hope you and your darling fam are doing well. let me know how things are!
Hey! You forgot to add this part (the best part):
You are Elinor Dashwood of Sense & Sensibility! You are practical, circumspect, and discreet. Though you are tremendously sensible and allow your head to rule, you have a deep, emotional side that few people often see.
I could always tell you hid a "deep, emotional side." ;)
Why thank you my dear.
