My Little Man's Big Day

After seeing all three of his sisters head off to school weeks before him, Connor was more than ready to start his second year of preschool today. He was so excited that he felt he had to eat his breakfast "super fast" so he wasn't late. Even after I explained school didn't start for another hour and a half, he would not slow down. He brushed his teeth until they were "extra sparklish". He was certain that Mrs. Shepard would notice what a good job he had done brushing his teeth today. When I told him it was finally time to go outside so that I could take his first day of school pictures, just as he had seen me do with all of the girls, he replied "it's about time!" I tried really hard to get a good picture of him on the porch. It's kind of a yearly tradition with all of the kids. I asked him, "Connor, can you look at me with both of your eyes open?" "No." "Why not?" "One of my eyes is scared." "Scared of what?" "The sun." Who can argue with that? Every picture I took of him this morning turned out like this...a squinting little boy.

Inside of his new school playing with the toys while waiting for everyone to get there.

Ashley and Natalie are in his preschool too. What a lucky boy to have two cuties in his class.

Your kiddos are too cute! I couldn't stop laughing at Gizzy's eulogy.

All of the kids in school? What are you going to do with yourself?
