No News Is Good News....Right?

I have been racking my brain for the past week trying to think of what I wanted to blog about next. And I have come up with nothing. Notta. Zip. Ziltch. How is that possible? I look at everyone else's blog's and everyone seems to have lots to talk about. Why not me? I have a busy life, a new position a work,(office manager) my husband is still out of town, and four crazy out of control kids, and I still have nothing to report. Well, except that every weekend that Tony has been gone,(this is the third one in a row for those of you counting) I have had a sick child or two. I thought this would be the weekend to break the cycle, but no, Emma woke up today with a fever, and complaining of a tummy ache. I guess we are a boring family. So, for now, until I find something note worthy to blog about I guess my great taste in music will have to keep you occupied.

I think sometimes blogging is deceptive. When you seem to have no news it isn't really that you have no news, at least for me. It is usually because I am exhausted and the idea of having to come up with something to say seems trite and vague. Or because there is so much going on that to report it would take too long and I wouldn't be able to do my thoughts/actions justice. Yes, blogging requires a certain mood for me, a mood of retrospect and a sense of control over my life. My posts have been getting fewer and longer in between...a bad omen?

The fact that you were just made office manager is a great reason to post! That is SO exciting! Sometimes I wish I could still work with you and the fun girls at Dr. Jack's. Good memories ;)

I hope you are all feeling a little better. Connor looked sooo cute today at school. His bandanna kept falling over one eye and his patch was on the other. He was looking around through a teeny little crack. What a true pirate! Arrrrrg

You definitely have things to say, it just doesn't feel like it sometimes. I have to say some of my favorite posts that people write are the most random ramblings of all. I hope Tony is back now so you're not single anymore!!

Oh, and I wanted to tell you- I never lost one toenail during the training or the marathon. If your shoes fit right, your gorgeous little piggies should say intact.
